Improved comfort and increased capacity for United customers in Switzerland
United Airlines announced it will enhance the on-board experience for its customers travelling from Zurich to its Washington/Dulles hub, Washington Dulles International Airport, by introducing the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to the daily nonstop service during the summer 2018 schedule from April 24, 2018 (westbound). The aircraft will replace the Boeing 767-300 currently operating this route.
The visionary design of the Dreamliner offers customers many features for increased comfort such as large windows, spacious overhead storage and modern LED lighting to simulate a full day, helping passengers adjust their internal clock on the trans-Atlantic flight. In addition, a lower cabin altitude, cleaner air and smoother ride help customers feel rested on arrival.
United's 787-8 aircraft is configured with a total of 219 seats – 36 flat-bed seats in United Polaris business class and 183 seats in United Economy, including 70 Economy Plus seats with added legroom and increased personal space.
